Wesleyan’s academic departments are organized into four divisions: Fine Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences.  Your major will fall under one of these areas and be run by the faculty and staff of that division.

The Fine Arts Division is comprised of the Art, Music and Theatre departments. The Humanities Division is comprised of the Communication, English, Modern Foreign Language, Philosophy and Religious Studies departments. The Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division is comprised of the Biology, Chemistry and Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science departments. The Social and Behavioral Sciences Division is comprised of the Business and Economics; Education; Health and Physical Education; History, Politics, and Socio-cultural Studies; and Psychology departments.
