More about their work.

Wesleyan's Last Supper Restored!

Wesleyan’s Last Supper painted by famed Florentine artist A. Corsi Lalli is a full-sized copy of the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. View the massive c:1929 reproduction and its stunning gold-leaf frame, both recently restored through a generous donation from Wesleyan's Board of Trustees. The restored painting has been installed in the Burden Parlor of the Olive Swan Porter Building.  Be sure to stop in and enjoy the splendor of the historic scene.  In it, Jesus Christ reveals to the apostles that his betrayer is with them at the table. The apostles react in astonishment, save Judas, who unwittingly reveals himself by reaching across the table for the same piece of bread as Christ. The painting, which is 5 feet 10 inches by 11 feet, had been in storage at Wesleyan College for years to prevent further damage. Now, the painting has been restored to its original glory.
