CHRISTINE CLANCY
HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER

Christine Clancy is in her second year as Head Athletic Trainer and Compliance Officer at Wesleyan College. Clancy has piled up a wealth of experience in the Athletic Training Field over the last several years. She spent the last year working as the head trainer for the women’s basketball program at Georgia College & State University while completing her graduate degree. Prior to last year, Clancy worked as a student assistant in the Valdosta State athletic training program, most notably assisting with football, women’s basketball and softball. Also, the Powder Springs, Ga., native spent a lot of time working in private health organizations as an intern.
Clancy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Valdosta State and added a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from GC&SU in May 2009. She currently owns MAT, ATC and LAT certifications. In addition to her duties in the training room, Clancy will assist the Athletics Department by taking over Compliance duties and will serve as a member of the college’s faculty. Clancy resides in Macon, Ga.
