At Wesleyan College, we love basketball. Attend a game and you will be part of a rowdy crowd that sometimes makes Porter Gymnasium feel twice its size. In our stands, you never know who you’ll be sitting next to, either --- it may just be our college president, she’s a pretty big fan!

Playing at Wesleyan gives student-athletes the opportunity to face great competition within NCAA Division III and the Great South Athletic Conference. Our team travels throughout the Southeast and extensively through the state of Georgia for games, adding to the overall collegiate experience for our student-athletes.

Head Coach Jason Henry brings a high-tempo style to the court reminiscent of the days when Wesleyan boasted the nation’s top scorer and led the NCAA in three-point field goals. While the competition is important, the college also values the philosophy of Division III athletics: the impact of athletics on its participants, an emphasis on internal constituents, a high level of sportsmanship, encouraging participation, and the incorporation of athletics into the overall mission of the institution.
