Wesleyan offers a wide range of programs during the summer and throughout the year for students looking to explore and expand their skills in the arts, sciences, athletics, leadership...and even horseback riding.


Center for the Arts Academy Summer Intensive
Rising high school sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduating seniors can explore a variety of fine arts disciplines with our outstanding faculty during a one-week immersion program. Have fun, explore multiple areas of interest and experience college life. The program is designed specifically for high school students to study, create and perform in studio art, music, or theatre. In addition to advanced study of the arts, you’ll experience life at the world’s oldest college for women and learn from our world-class faculty. More information!


Craig Jones Tennis Camp
Train like a champion! With Davis Cup and High Performance level coaching, the Craig Jones Tennis Camp at Wesleyan College offers unmatched opportunities for aspiring collegiate athletes. This one-week intensive camp is designed to offer the individual attention and quality instruction needed to take players to the next level of play. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced level players will benefit from morning drill clinics, afternoon match play, and fun evening activities. More information!


SPECTACLES 2012 Math & Science Resident Camp
Wesleyan’s Spectacles math & science resident camp for girls offers exciting activities designed to encourage middle-school girls to see science and math in new ways. Camp include field trips, experiments, and projects using the college’s new state-of-the-art science laboratories and computer facilities. Also included are conversations with women who have discovered exciting careers in science and math-related fields, the chance to learn from faculty members in Wesleyan’s division of science and mathematics and computer information systems, and the chance to spend time with other middle-school girls interested in math and science. 2011 Equestrian Day Camps
Wesleyan College offers five one-week summer equestrian programs beginning June 13th. Each day begins at 8:30 am and concludes at 2:00 pm. Each Wednesday will be a field trip to a different show barn or our veterinary office (pick up that day will be at 2:30). Participants will receive a tour of the facility, watch a demonstration ride, and learn about their profession. Participants must be between the ages of 10 and 15. Cost per week is $275 with a limit of 8 participants, ranging from beginner to advanced, each week. Participants bring their own lunch. 2011 Basketball Day Camp
Get in the game! Wesleyan's Basketball Day Camp is designed especially for girls aged 9 to 13 with the desire to take their basketball skills to the next level of competitive play. At this camp, girls will work on offensive, defensive and position skills, including shooting, ball handling, rebounding, and post or perimeter play. Team concepts on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court will be stressed. Wesleyan’s camp will be taught by college level coaches and experienced players. Each camper is assured a maximum amount of personal attention. Camp check in is Monday, June 6 at 12 noon. Camp runs through Thursday, June 9 from 9am to 5pm; pick up and drop off each day will be at the Porter Gymnasium on Wesleyan's campus. The typical daily schedule will include: Group Fundamentals Session (9-12noon), Lunch (Noon-1pm), Drills & Practice (1-2pm), and 3-on-3 Games (2-4pm). 2011 Soccer Day Camps
Wesleyan's Soccer Day Camp is designed to continue to shape young players' technical and tactical ability. The camp will be taught by top level college coaches and players who have solid soccer instruction background. The camp is for girls and boys aged 8 to 17, who have some basic soccer skills. This camp will run from Monday, July 25 through Thursday, July 28 from 9am to 4pm; pick up and drop off each day will be at the Porter Gymnasium on Wesleyan's campus. The typical daily schedule will include Technical/Tactical Session (9-11:30am), Lunch/Video/Discussion (11:30am-1pm), Competitive Games (1-3pm), and Pool Games (3-4pm). The fee for this four-day soccer camp is $190 ($50 for just one day) per player, which includes instruction, supervision, use of Wesleyan Athletic Facilities (Soccer Fields/Pool), lifeguard, lunch on campus, and a T-Shirt. LEAP 2012!
LEAP 2012 Summer Day Camp offers a safe, fun, and educational environment for kids aged 6 to 12. Join us on the Wesleyan College campus for one or two sessions this summer and experience outstanding Leadership, Education & Arts Programming. Two sessions are available: June 4 - 7, 2012 and June 11 – 15, 2012. Sessions are Monday through Thursday, 10AM – 3PM. LEAP Camp 2012 is FREE for Macon Housing Authority Residents.
