Professional Development Programs
Building upon our reputation for outstanding undergraduate and graduate business programs, Wesleyan is pleased to offer customized on-site training programs, consulting, and assessment opportunities for area companies and organizations. Advantages of this training include cost effectiveness, flexibility, customization, confidentiality, and convenience.

Our programs address the needs of your business or organization by creating tailored training programs focused on your requirements and personnel’s learning styles. Curriculum is customized and taught on your schedule. Since only your employees attend, the programs address your company’s specific needs – real answers to real problems.

An organization strives to reach its goals effectively in a timely and efficient manner with optimum utilization of its resources. The Wesleyan Professional Development Team (WPDT) can help your organization attain these objectives.

To schedule a personal appointment to discuss the needs of your company, please call (478) 757-3900 or email Danielle Lodge.

Community Horsemanship Program
The Community Horsemanship Program at Wesleyan College provides area residents with lessons in the care of horses and ponies, riding, and mounted sports including gymkhana. Offering quality instruction in hunt seat riding (based on the modern forward seat) and in western horsemanship, students can ride and compete without the expense of owning their own horses. Welcoming riders of all skill levels, we help students develop responsibility, sportsmanship, moral judgment, leadership, and self confidence.

The age levels of Wesleyan’s Community Horsemanship Program students vary widely – from adults to children as young as eight years old. The program is based upon the guidelines of the United States Pony Club and the Affiliated National Riding Commissions.

Program lesson fees:

  • Private lesson (one-half hour)-$30
  • Private lesson for 2 or more family members (one-half hour)-$25 per person
  • Group lesson, with 3-6 people (one hour)-$30
