Host your next meeting or event at the world’s first college chartered to grant degrees to women. Wesleyan’s meeting space varies from elegantly appointed parlors suitable for the most prestigious board meeting to high tech conference space and a grand auditorium for major events. 

Wesleyan College has hosted meetings lasting a few hours and summer camps lasting one night to two weeks. Find out about hosting long term summer camps or conferences.

On-site catering, expertly provided by Aramark Food Services, can accommodate anything from coffee breaks featuring Starbucks coffee to casual themed buffets or elegant seated dinners.  Please browse  our offerings and call us to see how Wesleyan, the college that’s first for women, can be first for your group.

Olive Swann Porter Student Center - This beautiful white columned building offers elegant meeting space with every amenity as follows:

Trice Conference Room,  2,244 sq. ft. with divider. Seats 52 classroom style; 80 theater style. This versatile space can accommodate set up in any style desired, and features slender 4 ft. tables with comfortable arm chairs for every participant.  A roomy stage adds to the possibilities offered by Trice. 

Manget Dining Room, 1,280 sq. ft.  Table seating for 70.  This elegant room is perfect for luncheons, dinners, board meetings, and receptions. Permanent tables and chairs may be arranged to suit. Tables may be moved to the walls, allowing for a mini-trade show set up or theater style seating.

Anderson Dining Hall, 4,745 sq. ft.  Seats 300-400.  Dine or meet by chandelier in this magnificent room, which is available for use as meeting space when school is out of session. Meal functions may be hosted in this room before or after its regular dining hall hours during the school year. The adjacent Mount Vernon porch also offers unique dining and reception options.

Hurdle Café. Seats 70 at tables, sofas, and easy chairs. This cozy cafe is a perfect space for one-on-one meetings in a casual setting or coffee breaks for larger groups, as it offers a large selection of Starbucks coffees, pastries and specialty drinks.

Benson Room, Candler Alumnae Building - 1,655 sq. ft.  Seats 75 theater style. One of the campus’ most fascinating rooms with its memorabilia filled glass cabinets. Benson is ideal for seminars, business meetings, or musical performances.  Bonuses include a grand piano and french doors, which open to the Candler lobby for coffee breaks or refreshments.

Peyton Anderson Amphitheatre, Taylor Hall – Indoor amphitheatre seating for 160.  A mid-size lecture hall with comfortable convertible desk/chairs, the amphitheatre is equipped with the latest smart board computer and AV equipment. 

Porter Auditorium, Porter Family Fine Arts Building – Seats 1,129 (802 main floor, 317 balcony). One of the finest theaters in central Georgia, Porter is perfect for large-scale presentations, theatrical productions, pageants, dance and musical performances, seminars and meetings of all kinds.  A large pre-function area is available for gathering and/or breaks with refreshments. Acoustically exquisite, the auditorium is equipped with: full-size Steinway concert grand piano; Goodwyn-Collier Organ; 12 channel mixing board/amplifier; 32 channel, 2 scene pre-set lighting controller; 16’ x 16’ front projection screen; rear loading platform access to the freight elevator, which opens directly into the second floor backstage; 40 ft. wide stage with additional 12 ft. wing space and dressing room on each side; 35 ft. total stage depth from apron edge to back wall (25 ft. curtain line to rear.)

Porter Gymnasium - Seats 500.  An icon of the 1928 Wesleyan campus with its Pioneer inspired weather vane, the gym is available as either an athletic or performance venue, with separate locker rooms for men and women. Athletic facilities include a heated swimming pool and classic wood floored basketball / volleyball court.
