Faculty & Staff
At Wesleyan, we like to brag about our faculty and staff. Students from across the world value the academic rigor and close ties offered by a 10:1 student-teacher ratio. Our exceptional faculty teaches classes in seminar style. And that means our students get a serious bang for their tuition buck. Small classes ensure that our students are known by more than just a grade or a number. A highly-accessible faculty is difficult to measure on a national survey or ranking, but we believe it's the reason Wesleyan students boast exemplary acceptance rates into medical, law, business, and other graduate programs.
Our faculty members are accessible. In fact, need an expert opinion? Our professors – noted scholars with the highest degrees in their fields from places like Oxford, Yale, Stanford, Duke, and Vanderbilt – are valuable sources of information. Of the 50 full-time faculty members teaching at Wesleyan, 47 hold PhDs or terminal degrees in their fields. They are recognized as experts in their fields and we’re proud to share their expertise with the community.
