Building a Firm Financial Foundation for Wesleyan
A strong endowment will mean a strong future for Wesleyan College –strong financial aid, strong academic support, and strong growth. A successful Leap of Faith campaign has given Wesleyan a wonderful foundation upon which to build even greater support for our endowed funds. Gifts to endowed funds are invested together, with a percentage of the funds spent on such core areas as scholarships, faculty development, and building maintenance. The percentage spent is determined by the Board of Trustees to ensure a perpetual source of income and the robust fiscal health of the college.
Gifts to the endowment can include:
- Named Scholarship Funds
- Professorships and Faculty Chairs
- Academic Support Funds
- Maintenance Funds
- Book Funds
